film // the bridge trailer

At the end of last year and beginning of this year, I worked on a project called The Bridge. The idea was to create a trailer for a film competition. Unfortunately we didn't get through to the next round for the competition, but our outcome is definitely worth watch.

Watch, and enjoy:

I worked on the script for the trailer, did most of the cinematography, helped direct and edited. But it was completely a team effort with my friends Priom Mashuk and Andrew MacFarlane (the one on the right). We worked with equipment I never even dreamt of touching, such as a the Canon beast, 70-200mm. We filmed out of a helicopter, something I will never forget. Ever.
This is definitely the start of something new. I am hopeful.

film // two seconds singapore

I filmed a lot on my trip to Singapore. When I came back I banged my head on the wall for about 10 days. I didn't know what to make of all the footage. There was no story line I could think of that wasn't sappy. No music that perfectly defined the essence of Singapore. And then I thought of this: no story line, no music, just a conglomerate of the footage. Two seconds worth of clips. Smooshed together. Introducting, "Two Seconds Singapore".

film // carter's theory

Again, not photography related, but I have written and directed a film called "Carter's Theory". I'd be grateful if you'd watch it. It's the comical journey of Hannah's break-up and the explanation of Carter's theorised five stages of a breakup.

film // pohela boishak

I know this isn't photography related but it is my work. I was forced asked to make a film for our Bengali New Year event. This is what I produced:
