emon + subarna // anniversary - march '12
Emon and Subarna. Second wedding anniversary. A weekend or two ago I was taken along to a day trip to Victor Harbour with them for the purposes of photo-taking. I spent the whole day wanting the treasured golden hour (which in Australia during summer is a good 3 hours). But as soon as the clock struck gold, the clouds rolled in. Still got some good shots.

Victor Harbor SA 5211, Australia

Last weekend I was fortunate enough to be able to take photograph's at a Bengali concert featuring the Bangladeshi singer Kona (and Arnob). Here are some of Kona's photos:

film // the bridge trailer
At the end of last year and beginning of this year, I worked on a project called The Bridge. The idea was to create a trailer for a film competition. Unfortunately we didn't get through to the next round for the competition, but our outcome is definitely worth watch.
Watch, and enjoy:
I worked on the script for the trailer, did most of the cinematography, helped direct and edited. But it was completely a team effort with my friends Priom Mashuk and Andrew MacFarlane (the one on the right). We worked with equipment I never even dreamt of touching, such as a the Canon beast, 70-200mm. We filmed out of a helicopter, something I will never forget. Ever.
This is definitely the start of something new. I am hopeful.
